I was walking along the beach the other day with Benson, our little golden cocker spaniel, while Laura played with Sean up ahead. As I followed their footprints the baby inside me began to kick and squirm and it got me thinking about the circle of life. Not so long ago it was Laura that was squirming on the inside, and now she’s running about playing with her Dad on the beach.

How fast life happens! It’s a remarkable process that starts with a simple act of love and ends with us decaying and returning back to nature. The only thing that really matters is to have you enjoyed that ‘process’ of life as much as you possibly can.

Imagine if we judged our lives by that benchmark only. What a different world we would live in!
