Positive Psychology Coaching Feedback
Erin Watt, Director. HER Property Co
“I’ve enjoyed working with Jodie over the last four months whilst I’ve been working through some challenging work/life changes. Jodie has challenged my processed and thoughts with questions and suggestions that have encouraged me to look at the Status Quo and see beyond to the possibilities.
Her gentle probing is more often than not completely on point and that has enabled me to work through the self-imposed blockages and restrictions that have hampered not only my thought processes but how I have limited myself in what I can and should do. The thought exercises she gives are provocative and for me encouraged some fairly deep thinking and self-reflection.
The results have been surprising (in the best possible way) and I am seeing long term positive benefits from engaging with Jodie.”
Bradley Ryan-Agnew, CFO. Ericom
“Through the gentle and caring coaching I have received from Jodie I have been guided to clearly identifying what I want in my life and totally removing self-defeating thoughts. These thoughts are so powerless now I am no longer even able to recall them. I am confidently moving towards short-term and long-term goals. I am clear on where my personal happiness lies and on a daily basis enjoy the freedom of being at peace with me.”
Gabby Anchor
“Jodie has helped us to ‘step outside the story’ of our business & look at it with fresh eyes. The changes we have made under her coaching are taking our business to a new level. I would highly recommend Jodie’s services to anyone.”
Siria Thomas, Owner. Northern Stars Swim School
“I am currently being coached by Jodie Cooper and what can I say… I absolutely LOVE it!! Jodie has helped me in both my personal and business goals. She listens intently to my struggles and needs and offers creative solutions that have improved my business and my life as a happy and positive person. For quite sometime I was just working on my business day by day, project to project and not really growing or going anywhere. But now I have a clear vision as to where I’d like my business to go and how I’m going to get there.
Already in the few months I’ve been seeing her I’ve seen a growth in my business and I feel absolutely ecstatic about it. I highly recommend Jodie to absolutely anyone looking to improve their life and business in a happy and positive way. Thanks again Jodie. Love your work!”
Deidre Jones, Owner & Photographer. Dream Designs & Photography
“Thank you for being an amazing mentor to me Jodie!
Your coaching always sees me walking away with restored clarity and being happy with what I already give, and who I am. I have made some great achievements and I should be proud. Yes, there is always room for self-improvement and reflection, but your approach is always positive and you never make me feel like I have failed. I’m truly grateful to you.”
Stacy Corbeski, Brand & Marketing Strategy. Aster Group

Sarah Amos, Equity Division. UOW
“I believe the essential criteria of Life Coaching are listening, challenging and facilitation. Jodie strikes a great balance between all three, drawing out the answers from within. When taking on a coach, my goal was to attain an understanding of the process with an aim to use this knowledge to improve my interactions with people. I have been able to achieve this goal and more. At the same time learning more about myself and the importance of setting goals. Coaching has enhanced my ability to understand “just what is important”. With focus and belief anything is possible.
Coaching provides the opportunity to critically evaluate yourself. There is nothing so challenging than to question your long held beliefs. The best outcome of coaching was to extend your reasoning power by having someone that will listen, question and facilitate but not judge. The benefit of hearing yourself explain yours goals and thoughts cannot be underestimated.
If you are seeking to challenge yourself, maximise your output or simply to learn more about yourself then coaching could be for you. Coaching provides the vehicle for you to focus on whatever it is that is important to you (it is different for everyone; it is definitely not one size fits all.)”
Greg Pollock, Partner. Butler & Pollock
“I came to see Jodie at the start of my Honours year in a Bachelor of Psychology because I was aware that certain aspects of my lifestyle (e.g. time management) were limiting my potential at University. Jodie helped me to implement meaningful change in a number of areas of my life that helped me to stay on track throughout a very challenging year. Jodie played a big part in helping me achieve first class honours and the best thesis mark from any student under my honours supervisor.
The sessions were enjoyable and engaging and helped me look at life from a different perspective. It amazed me how making a number of small, yet powerful changes made such a difference. My family and friends recognised how consistently I was able to work throughout the year and how much my time management improved. Jodie was also very happy to provide assistance outside our structured session times to help me get through periods when balancing course and thesis work seemed too much to handle. I truly appreciate your help, thank you Jodie.”
Jordan Schaefer, Honours Student. University of Wollongong
“Jodie has given me the tools to manage stress and anxiety, and manage and priortise the ‘to do list’ without stress. Jodie’s given me ideas on how to communicate with my children better. My husband had noticed a big difference in my stress and anxiety, I’m more relaxed now. Coaching has enabled me to view my life in a more positive light.”
Kelly, Business Owner and Parent
“I am so grateful having met you, I absolutely could not have done it with out your encouragement! You made me realise home truths about myself in a non-judgemental environment and that for me, has been critical as to how I conduct myself through the next phase of life.”
Sarah Tanti, Real Estate Professional
“I started coaching sessions with Jodie for a bit of help with public speaking but our sessions quickly turned into what I can only describe as the best soul searching, growth and development coaching I could have ever dreamed of. Jodie goes above and beyond and is so well educated in her field of positive psychology and mindset that she was able to give me tools to initiate life-long change that I can apply to all areas of my life. She really has changed my outlook on life and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.”
Debbie Bruce, Owner. Get Active Health Solutions
“Jodie is an absolutely wonderful coach! I have come to Jodie feeling vulnerable and her coaching sessions delves into positive psychology as well as self compassion and wellbeing. Jodie’s sessions has brought to light areas in my life that require attention and how we can use positive psychology to learn and uplift in times of feeling stuck. I recommend Jodie as a coach and I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to grow and learn with her coaching.”
Tiffany Karavsilis, Teacher. Port Kembla
“Jodie’s laughter session was an instant success with all carers. Jodie is a fantastic presenter, energetic, funny and exceeded carer’s expectations.Thank you!”
Myriam Marchant. Kiama Council
“I met Jodie at the suggestion of my employer, I’d lost motivation, was miserable to be around both at work and at home, and deep down I knew I wasn’t being the best “me” I could be.
The first session I had with Jodie was primarily me just sitting back and listening. There were lots of questions, time for reflection, and uncomfortable silence on occasion, but I was cautious and in hindsight I didn’t make it easy for Jodie. That evening I had time to think about what we talked about and it dawned on me that only I could make the changes I needed to make, and only if I wanted to change.
After that first session I did the homework, listened more intently, researched a little, and participated as best I could. Jodie was very insightful, and I learned a lot, mostly about myself. I learned to be in the moment, to value what’s important to me and use that as motivation to turn things around.
6 months later and I’m not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but I think I’m very close to being “me” again, even the family has noticed a big difference. I’m looking forward to the future and I’m indebted to Jodie for helping (challenging) me to find this path forward.”
Andrew Severn, Projects Manager. Peoplecare
“Many thanks to you, Jodie. Thank you for your patience and kindness over the last few months. I had no idea what to expect coming into these sessions but somewhere inside of me, I think I knew I needed some guidance in more personal areas, rather than professional, so I am really grateful that you picked up on what I needed to do.
Many thanks for all of your time and energy!”
Rachel Tolosa Paz, Philanthropic Researcher
“My sessions with Jodie are always amazing. They are specifically targeted to my needs and Jodie is extremely flexible. Jodie has a positive encouraging and reassuring nature, and her delivery of the original coaching sessions and now regular sessions certainly makes me feel comfortable and supported. Jodie has given me the confidence to now move forward with my goals and challenges. I highly recommended Jodie and I will certainly be staying connected.”
Ms R, Specialist Support Coordinator
“I have gained so much insight and inspiration from my sessions with Jodie. What an amazing, open and gorgeous woman! She has drawn the best out of me and helped me see the best in others and the world in general. Anyone who thinks their life can be better – It can be! So much I have worked through – I am truly a better Linda – with determination, vision and self confidence to boot! Not only is my life more positive, my mind feels as though it’s been opened to endless possibilities and my hands have been placed on the steering wheel of my life……… and I have gained an awesome friend too.”
Linda Brown, Wollongong
“I started seeing Jodie Mid October 2022. I had just ended a 3 year relationship. I felt I had lost my way, my identity, my motivation and needed guidance to get back on track. I felt comfortable with Jodie from the initial ‘get to know each other’ session.
Jodie is so knowledgeable and understanding and has really taken the time to get to know me deeply and guide me through difficult and confronting topics. I am gaining an understanding of how my brain works in different situations and continue to develop strategies to cope and work through things in a more positive and mindful way.
Jodie does check ins throughout the week to see how I am going or to offer encouragement and is always available if I have a question or I want to express my happiness of achieving a success or goal.
I would highly recommend Jodie to anyone wanting to explore ‘Positive Psychology’. It has had a profoundly positive affect on my life.”
Helen Grace, Specialist Educator
